State auditor releases LCG audit, says removal of spoil banks may have been illegal

The Louisiana Legislative Auditor has released its audit of Lafayette Consolidated Government which alleges the decision by the Josh Guillory administration to secretly remove spoil banks in St. Martin Parish in February 2022 was against local, state and federal law.
