Shreveport bank robbery suspect found with dye stained money, gun

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Shreveport police arrested a man suspected of robbing a local bank at gunpoint.

Police said on August 13, 2025, just before 4:00 p.m., a Black male entered Home Federal Bank in the 600 block of Market Street. Investigators were told the man entered the bank, demanded money, and fled the scene.

On Thursday evening, police announced that Lebroderick Jones was arrested for one count of armed robbery with a firearm. Police said, “During a search warrant at Jones’s residence, detectives recovered critical evidence linking him to the crime, including a firearm and money stained with dye.”
