Pedestrian struck and killed by vehicle in Shreveport, victim identified

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — The Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office has named a victim who was struck and killed by a vehicle in Shreveport.

The incident happened on Saturday, August 16 just before 8:00 p.m. in the 300 block of Hearne Avenue. According to the coroner’s office, 40-year-old Blake Tannen was struck by a vehicle while walking near J.S. Clark Middle School. Tannen suffered from multiple injuries due to blunt force trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene.
