BELOIT, Wis. (WTVO — The Nikolas Ritschel Foundation held its first golf outing in Beloit today, drawing over 80 golfers to raise funds for granting wishes.

The event aimed to support the foundation’s mission of granting wishes to young adults fighting cancer. Organized by three former recipients of wishes from Nik’s Wish, the outing brought together participants despite looming storms.

“Raising enough funds for a wish is what the goal is. I think we can do it,” said Cole Kudrna, a member of Nik’s Wish, highlighting the community’s commitment to helping others.

The golf outing was organized by three former recipients who had their wishes granted by the foundation. They expressed gratitude for the support they received and aimed to help others experience similar joy.

One of the beneficiaries of the event is Teagan, a girl battling Hodgkin’s lymphoma, who wishes to take her family to Hawaii. The organizers hope to make this dream a reality through the funds raised.

This being the first year for the golf outing in Wisconsin, the foundation hopes to grow the event and continue it annually.
