(WHTM) — Wondering when your property tax or rent rebate will arrive?

Earlier this year, the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue said it would distribute $258 million in rebates on property tax and rent for eligible individuals.

Who qualifies?

Pennsylvania homeowners and renters who make less than $46,520 a year qualify if they are:

  • 65 and older
  • Widows and widowers 50 and older
  • People with disabilities 18 and older

When do rebates send out?

The application period for the 2024 year is open through Dec. 31, 2025. However, rebates started sending out on July 1 to those who already applied.

How can you track your rebate?

Tracking is available 24/7 with the department’s “Where’s My Rebate?” tool.

It’s a good way to skip a phone call while having easy access to rebate information.
