Hendrik Swanepoel takes helm as Wagener Fire Chief
WAGENER, S.C. (WJBF)- There is a new fire chief in Wagener.
In a letter to NewsChannel 6, Hendrik Swanepoel confirmed that he has accepted the role. He said he was recently nominated by the town council and that it “is a great honor.”
“I’m excited to serve our community and lead our dedicated team,” he said in the statement.
Swanepoel added that he is now accepting applications for new fire station management and staff.
