DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — A road is closed for what officials said will be for an extended period of time while troopers investigate what led to a crash Sunday morning in south Durham.

The North Carolina State Highway Patrol said they are investigating a crash that occurred around 10:20 a.m. on T.W. Alexander Drive and N. C. Highway 54.

CBS 17 was at the scene where multiple law enforcement officers had the intersection blocked off with tape surrounding a Durham Fire Rescue truck and a yellow motorcycle.
