Woman reports shots fired after parking dispute in Anne Arundel County

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Police are investigating a shooting they said broke out after a parking dispute in Brooklyn Park on Thursday night.

The Anne Arundel County Police Department (AACOPD) was called to the 5200 block of Patrick Henry Drive at around 9:30 p.m. that evening. There, investigators said a 29-year-old woman got into an argument with someone over a parking matter.

She then went into her home and heard several gunshots soon after.

Responding officers said they found three shell casings and one live round on the ground, but no one was hurt and nothing was damaged as a result.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact AACOPD at (410) 222-6135 or (410) 222-4700.
