Prince George’s County police investigating deadly hit-and-run

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run that happened on Friday night.

The Prince George’s County Police Department said officers responded to the Shell Street and Billings Avenue area at around 8 p.m. for reports of a crash. There, they learned that a pickup truck had crashed into someone riding an electric bike.

The man riding the electric bike was pronounced dead there.

The truck driver fled the scene.
