Officers said they arrested Devontae Ardoin, who was located by Texas law enforcement near Beaumont on August 3 and transported to Jefferson County Correctional Facility to be processed for an extradition hearing.
Ardoin was picked up Wednesday by Ville Platte police, transported back to Evangeline Parish, and booked into the parish jail. Ardoin is currently awaiting a bond hearing.
