Bomberfest set for Friday at Bomber Stadium
Bomberfest 2025 is scheduled for 5 on Friday, at Bomber Stadium in Mountain Home. The event will feature games, food and a barbecue cook-off. Admission is free with the donation of non-perishable food items.The evening will open with a 7th grade volleyball scrimmage at 4:30, followed by an 8th and 9th grade volleyball scrimmage at 4:55. The high school volleyball team will be introduced at 5:20. An obstacle course for students in grades 3 through 6 is set for 5:45.

At 6:30, the Golden Football Hunt will take place, with winners receiving three family passes to any Mountain Home athletic events. The national anthem will be performed at 6:55.





KTLO, Classic Hits and the Boot spoke with Mountain Home Athletic Director, Mitch Huskey who says Bomberfest has turned into more than an athletic event.

Winners of the KTLO BBQ Challenge, the People’s Choice award and the obstacle course will be announced at 7. The 7th, 8th and 9th grade football teams will be introduced at 7:30, followed by a high school football scrimmage.

In the KTLO BBQ Challenge, each team will receive one rack of ribs provided by First Security Bank. Participants must supply their own cooking equipment, seasonings and any additional food they plan to serve. The $25 entry fee covers judging on taste, presentation and creativity. A separate prize will be awarded for Best Display.

Bomberfest is held annually before the Mountain Home High School football season and is open to the public.
