In its February 2025 announcement, the company stated that the IVM framework is designed to meet the scaling needs of an ecosystem that could include more than 2,000 active networks by 2026. This approach is also described as an effort to address ongoing challenges in interoperability, such as reducing the risks of network downtime, collusion between operators, or data manipulation.²
