Charlotte Hornets release 2025-26 regular season schedule

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The Charlotte Hornets announced their regular-season schedule for the 2025-26 NBA campaign.

The Hornets begin the season at home in the Spectrum Center on Wednesday, Oct. 22, against the Brooklyn Nets. This will be Hornets fans’ first opportunity to experience the fully transformed arena, which has undergone extensive renovations over the past two off-seasons.

Single-game tickets for all contests will go on sale to the general public on Saturday, Aug. 16c, at 10 a.m. and can be purchased at hornets.com, Ticketmaster.com or via the Hornets app.

The Hornets will host several marquee matchups at Spectrum Center this season, including the following games:

  • Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 6 p.m.
  • LeBron James, Luka Doncic and the L.A. Lakers on Monday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m.
  • Reigning MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the reigning NBA champion Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday, Nov. 15 at 7 p.m.
  • Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks on Wednesday, Nov. 26 at 7 p.m. (night before Thanksgiving) and Thursday, March 26 at 7 p.m.
  • Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets on Sunday, Dec. 7 at 6 p.m.
  • Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday, Dec. 29 at 7 p.m.
  • Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday, Dec. 31 at 1 p.m. (New Year’s Eve)
  • Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday, Jan. 31 at 3 p.m.
  • Kevin Durant and the Houston Rockets on Thursday, Feb. 19 at 7 p.m.
  • No. 1 NBA Draft Pick Cooper Flagg and the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday, March 3 at 7 p.m.

Charlotte’s longest homestand of the season is seven games from March 17-29, highlighted by three consecutive Eastern Conference matchups with the New York Knicks on Thursday, March 26, the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday, March 28 and the Boston Celtics’ lone visit to Spectrum Center on Sunday, March 29.

Charlotte’s schedule features 17 weekend home games, including five on Fridays, nine on Saturdays and three on Sundays. The Hornets play 16 sets of back-to-back games with six of those consisting of consecutive home games.

The Hornets are set to play two home games during the Emirates NBA Cup, presented by Bank of America, squaring off against the New York Knicks on Nov. 26 before a meeting with the Chicago Bulls on Nov. 28. As part of the Emirates NBA Cup, the 82-game schedule includes two contests between Dec. 10-16 that will be announced following the conclusion of Group Play.

Charlotte is scheduled to play three national television games this season: Dec. 22 at Cleveland (7 p.m., Peacock), Jan. 21 vs. Cleveland (7 p.m., ESPN/ESPN App) and Jan. 31 vs. San Antonio (3 p.m., Prime).
