At 12:38 p.m., security alerted all managers outside the medical office building and Eccles Outpatient Care Center that backup generators are “fluctuating” and both buildings need to be completely shutdown and all appointments canceled.
According to Jess Gomez with Intermountain Health, shortly before noon on Thursday, regular power was lost. A short time after, backup power was also lost.
Gomez says ambulances were diverted to other hospitals until power was restored.
