PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Milwaukie woman has been convicted on a burglary charge after she was linked to a crime ring behind thefts from more than 100 Multnomah County businesses, according to court documents.

On July 31, 26-year-old Selena Jacobo was convicted on a first-degree burglary charge after previously entering a no-contest plea. Meanwhile, Jacobo’s charges for a second count of first-degree burglary, aggravated theft and criminal mischief were dismissed.

Jacobo was sentenced to more than seven months of supervised probation.

Jacobo was arrested in May for her alleged link to the crime ring and had a warrant for her arrest after she was indicted for burglary, theft and criminal mischief.

The burglary charge is in connection with a September 2024 burglary from Portland’s Shamrock Bar & Grill on 82nd Avenue, according to court documents.

Surveillance video from the incident showed Jacobo – and a man identified as Joshua Lucero – arrive at the bar, with Lucero using a crowbar to break into the building, probable cause documents said.

Surveillance video then showed the pair break into safes inside the business, with the bar owner reporting $16,000 stolen from the incident.

Probable cause documents in the case connected Jacobo to an organized crime ring made up of 10 people who targeted 100 restaurants, lounges, bars and other businesses in Multnomah County.

At least four people have been arrested or convicted in cases connected to the crime ring, including Courtney Carlile, Josh Lucero and Jeremiah Morgan.
