TROUP COUNTY, Ga. (WRBL) – Investigators with the Troup County Sheriff’s Office have charged a woman in connection with the shooting of her husband earlier this week. He remains in critical condition at an Atlanta-area hospital, authorities said.

On August 13, deputies charged 48-year-old Tracy Lynn White in the August 11 shooting of her husband, Dawendall White, at a home on 196 Chipley Mountville Road.

White was arrested earlier Thursday in Lee County, Alabama. She faces charges of criminal attempt to commit murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and aggravated stalking. The stalking charge stems from her previous July arrest on allegations of aggravated assault/family violence charges.

Once extradition proceedings are complete, White will be transferred to the Troup County Jail.
