The event took place at the Lulac Senior Center, where seniors joined in by singing, clapping and even dancing to the music.
“It bridges the generations because even though our folks are a lot older, they still love any kind of music, and his music was really super cool for them today,” said Kathy Votaw, executive director of the Lulac Senior Center.
The performance ended with a group sing-along of Happy Birthday, celebrating three of the seniors at the center.
“It is always an honor to be in the presence of people who have that much more experience than you,” said the rapper, known as KiRa.
