Southeastern Dental to offer free cleanings, fillings, extractions in 7th annual “Helping Heroes Smile” event

HAMILTON, Ga. (WRBL) — Southeastern Dental Center is aiming to honor veterans, active duty military personnel, law enforcement and first responders in their seventh annual “Helping Heroes Smile” event.

The event, set to take place on Thursday, September 11, 2025, will provide free dental services in the Hamilton, Georgia community.

“After seeing the incredible response of the heroes who answered the call on 9/11, we felt a
strong desire to show our gratitude and give back if possible,” said founder and lead dentist at Southeastern Dental Center, Dr. Alan Arrington, DMD. “This event allows us to
support the community of veterans and first responders who were there for our country in a
time of need. It’s truly our honor to do what we can.”

The group says last year’s event donated nearly $75,000 in services to almost 100 individuals.

Those eligible for services will be helped on a first-come, first-served basis. Early arrival is recommended and individuals must bring their ID card to be eligible. More specific details about the event are listed below.

Date & Time: Thursday, Sept. 11, 2025, 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Eligibility: “Heroes” Military, Veterans and First Responders (All must have proper identification to receive treatment)

Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. with personal information being collected from those in attendance.
