Brooklyn Park Shooting
One person is hurt after a shooting overnight in Brooklyn Park.
Our FIVE EYEWITNESS NEWS photographer was on the scene at Scott Avenue and 77th Avenue North just before midnight.
Police on the scene told our crew that people in two cars started firing at each other. Officers say the victim was being chased by another vehicle that was firing at them. After being hit, the victim drove off the road and hit unoccupied vehicles in two driveways.
Paramedics took the victim to the hospital. Police say that person will survive.
Police are investigating what led to the shooting. So far, they haven’t announced any arrests.
