The votes have been tallied in the special election for St. Paul’s 4th Ward City Council seat.
Molly Coleman defeated three other candidates in a special election on Tuesday night — Cole Hansen, Chauntyll Allen and Carolyn Will.
Coleman will replace Mitra Jalali, who stepped down in January.

In April, St. Paul Mayor Melvin Carter appointed Matt Privratsky to fill the seat until the special election was held.
