Monitoring the southern Gulf for tropical development

Storm Team 10 and the National Hurricane Center is monitoring an area of showers and storms in the Bay of Campeche. There is a low risk this area will develop into a tropical system as the NHC has placed a 20% chance in the next 48 hours. Regardless of development, heavy rains will spread northwest towards Mexico and south Texas. This should NOT pose a risk for Louisiana or the northern Gulf Coast. The next name on the list Fernand.
