Five upcoming events to give away school supplies

If you live in Philadelphia and are scrambling to get essential school supplies for your children, there are five upcoming events that can help ease the burden of expenses while also getting your kids excited for the start of another school year!

One place to find all these events is on Uplifme, a website that serves as a national resource hub for social services.

“People often times when they have a need they’re looking to fill that need immediately. One of things that people can find are job fairs, food giveaways, community baby showers and a lot of times when people go to those resource events they can get exactly what they need on the same day of the event,” said Katrina Pratt-Roebuck, Founder and CEO.
