The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) San Diego Field Office, which covers both Imperial and San Diego counties, is seeking information about the location of the person or people allegedly involved in the fatal shooting of David Mora Barraza.
Barraza, then 21, was shot on March 2 shortly before 2:20 a.m., according to authorities.
Officers with the Brawley Police Department responded to the shooting near East K Street and South 17th Street.
Upon arrival, they found Barraza with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Anyone with information regarding who may have been involved in the shooting of Barraza is urged to contact their local FBI field office, nearest United States embassy or submit a tip online. All information can be submitted anonymously.
According to the FBI, individuals who are charged are presumed innocent unless, and until, proven guilty.
