Water main breaks shut down part of Topeka Boulevard

TOPEKA (KSNT) – The City of Topeka says part of downtown Topeka Boulevard will be shut down due to waterline breaks.

On Wednesday, the City of Topeka announced that the southbound lanes of Topeka Boulevard will be closed at 5th Street. Part of 5th Street east of Topeka Boulevard will also be closed.

The city says the extent of the repairs needed is currently unknown. The city didn’t give an estimated repair timeline.
