This 20-minute guided tour gives visitors unparalleled access to the inner workings of Texas’ largest aquarium. From learning how aquarists care for more than 5,000 sea creatures to seeing the life support and feeding systems that power the aquarium, the experience is designed to educate and amaze.
However, what truly sets this tour apart is the rare opportunity to feed zebra sharks, one of SEA LIFE Grapevine’s most captivating species. Offered only once a day at 12:30 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday, the experience is limited to just two guests per session, ensuring an intimate, up-close encounter.
“This is the only tour that combines all the features of our Standard and Premium tours and then takes it a step further,” said Kaitlin Morgan, Lead Aquarist.
“Getting to feed our zebra sharks above the Ocean Tunnel is something most guests never get to see, let alone do,” Morgan said.
The tour is led by expert aquarists who guide guests through every step of the behind-the-scenes experience, from fish feeding routines to the care protocols that help marine life thrive.
