Suspect in custody in Holly Springs double homicide: sheriff’s office

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A suspect is in custody in a shooting that killed a man and woman in Holly Springs, Mississippi over the weekend, Marshall County authorities said Tuesday.

Darian McKinney turned himself in to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, the county sheriff’s office said.

The shooting happened just before 6 a.m. Saturday at a Circle K gas station at Highway 7 near U.S. 78.

A man was pronounced dead at the scene, while a woman was found after a car accident a short distance away, dead from gunshot wounds.
