Speed cameras to be rolled out for Kentucky work zones
HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – New safety measures are coming to Kentucky work zones.
The state is rolling out automated speed enforcement cameras to be placed right inside the zones with troopers waiting beyond barrels to pull over speeding drivers.
State Police state the goal isn’t to hand out tickets but to slow drivers down and save lives of workers.
Drivers should expect to start seeing the cameras in the fall in some locations with more on the way.
