On August 6th, around 2:30 a.m., officers were called to the 1200 block of Reese Avenue for reports of domestic violence.
The victim told authorities over the phone that Cokes was injured.
Cokes would not let the man leave the residence after she knocked him down three times and attempted to hit him with a lamp, according to court records.
The man told deputies they had fought over the lamp, which caused it to break and injure the suspect.
She was arrested on charges of domestic battery in 2024, court documents show. All of her charges were dismissed on June 11, 2025.
Cokes is charged with unlawful restraint and domestic battery that caused physical contact.
The suspect’s mugshot was not readily available.
