ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police arrested three teenagers after a traffic stop Tuesday night, saying guns and drugs were found in the car.

According to Rockford Police, officers with the department’s Specialized Community Oriented Policing Enforcement (SCOPE) team pulled a vehicle over in the area of 15th Street and 9th Avenue at 10:45 p.m.

Authorities said of the two loaded handguns found in the car, one had a laser sight attachment and had been reported stolen.

In addition, police found 5 grams of crack cocaine and 20 grams of MDMA (Ecstasy).

Bryson Jackson, 18, was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

An unnamed 17-year-old male was charged with possession of a stolen firearm, aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon, and no valid Firearm Owners’ Identification.

Another 17-year-old male was charged with armed violence, possession of a stolen firearm, aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon, no valid Firearm Owners’ Identification, and possession of a controlled substance.
