Around 10 a.m. on Wednesday, reports came out of a car into a structure on the 8700 block of Mount Holly Road. When a Queen City News crew arrived at the scene, we saw a tow truck carrying at least eight cars stuck under the overhang of a Citgo gas station.
Queen City News reached out to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department and the Charlotte Fire Department for details on the crash. Medic said they did not respond.
It’s unclear how long the truck could be stuck there for, as it appears that the overhang will collapse if the truck is removed. However, CFD said the building was safe and the grounds were secured.
