Trevor Walker, 18, was last seen on August 5, leaving the area of Ninevah Road wearing all-black clothing. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office shared the missing person’s report two days later.
On the night of Aug. 10, a home invasion was reported on Ninevah Road. According to the sheriff’s office, a woman had been assaulted, and her vehicle and handgun had been stolen.
Before 9 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 11, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office in Ohio issued a shelter-in-place advisory for the area surrounding State Route 725. Residents were asked to lock their doors and windows, as well as stay inside their homes or businesses.
According to Nexstar’s WDTN, Springboro police were alerted to a vehicle license plate on a Flock camera that was connected to a missing person. Crews were then notified that the vehicle had been stolen during a Frankfort home invasion.
A male, later identified as Walker, was driving the vehicle and fled, prompting the shelter-in-place advisory. Walker was reportedly found hiding inside a sewer pipe in roughly 3 feet of water.
A minor female was also arrested at the scene. Authorities told WDTN that the girl was also listed as a missing person. It’s unclear where from.
According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Walker was charged with second-degree assault and first-degree burglary.
