The Veterans Education Career Transition Resource Center will serve as a transformative hub for workforce development, career training, and veteran support services in the Chattahoochee Valley region.
According to CTC, the center is designed to provide high-demand careers and expand access to short-term technical programs for transitioning service members, veterans, military spouses, and the broader community.
“This project honors the legacy of Col. Puckett while fulfilling a critical regional need,” said Martha Ann Todd, president of Columbus Technical College. “The VECTR Center will be a beacon of opportunity, collaboration, and innovation, aligning education with workforce demands and supporting our military-connected populations every step of the way.”
Elected officials, military leaders, and community members made remarks at the ceremony. There was also a ceremonial turning of the soil to celebrate the beginning of construction.
