Broussard City Council approves funding for new sports complex additions
BROUSSARD, La. (KLFY) — The Broussard City Council will spend $8,950,000 for a new tennis court, pickleball facility, veterans memorial and parking lot to be built at the Broussard Sports Complex at St. Julien Park.
The tennis/pickleball facility will be an addition to the eight existing tennis courts by adding 24 pickleball courts, a concession stand, a pro shop and an elevated balcony. A total of 16 of the 24 pickleball courts will be covered, with overhead fans and lighting.

Broussard Mayor Ray Bourque said providing a high quality of life for Broussard residents is one of the city’s top priorities.
