The Fresno Heart and Surgical Hospital shined a light on their furry volunteers, reminding people that they are there to help.
Heather Rodriquez, the chief nursing officer for the hospital, says the therapy team is an integral part of the healing team for patients and staff.
The handler for the therapy dogs, Gina Paul, says a lot of people who come in don’t know that pet therapy is available.
“So having this wall honoring the dogs is also great for the public to see that dogs are available to come visit their loved ones,” she said.
All 11 therapy dogs were in attendance for the unveiling.
