ABILENE, Texas(KTAB/KRBC) – Two motorcyclists were injured during a crash that witnesses say was caused when a truck ran a red light in south Abilene Wednesday morning.
The incident happened at the intersection of South 11th Street and Sayles Boulevard just after 8:00 a.m.

Witnesses told KTAB and KRBC a plumbing truck ran the red light on S 11th Street at the intersection and was hit by a truck traveling down Sayles Boulveard.
This caused the plumbing truck to push back into traffic on S 11th Street and hit a motorcycle.
Both riders were ejected into a yard and were hospitalized with serious injuries. Their current conditions are not known at this time. No other injuries were reported.
