One person seriously hurt in Steele Creek house fire: Medic

CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — One person was seriously injured in a house fire late Tuesday morning in the Steele Creek area.

The fire broke out around 11:23 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, in the 15000 block of Longmoore Drive. Charlotte Fire crews responded to assist Steele Creek Fire at the scene.

Medic confirmed that one person was treated for serious injuries and taken to Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center for treatment.

There’s no word yet on what caused the fire or the extent of the damage. Steele Creek Fire is handling the investigation.
