Man fatally shot at Vacaville gas station Sunday night

The Vacaville Police Department responded at 7:40 p.m. to reports of a shooting in the parking lot of the ampm convenience store gas station at 801 Leisure Town Road. Arriving officers found a man inside the ampm store suffering from a gunshot wound, authorities said.

The man was pronounced deceased despite life-saving efforts from officers, Vacaville PD said.

No arrests have been made in connection with the homicide, police said in an update Monday morning.

“Preliminary findings indicate this was an isolated incident, and there is no ongoing threat to the community,” the police department wrote.
