Lanes reopen after fatal crash on 580 in Richmond

(BCN) — A deadly crash affected traffic on eastbound Interstate 580 in Richmond early Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash, reported around 1:35 a.m., shut down all eastbound lanes of I-580 east of the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge toll plaza, temporarily cutting access to the bridge for eastbound motorists.
