High-speed chase ends in arrest of Davis Junction woman
OGLE COUNTY, Ill. (WTVO) — A 27-year-old woman from Davis Junction, Keyosha Johnson, was arrested after a high-speed police chase while she was high on drugs, according to Ogle County authorities.

Around 8:40 p.m. on Monday, August 12th, deputies stopped Johnson in the 6000 block of N. Illinois Route 251.

The Ogle County Sheriff reported that Johnson sped away from the traffic stop at speeds between 26-34 mph over the limit.

She was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of drugs, aggravated driving under the influence, no valid driver’s license, aggravated fleeing to elude, resisting arrest, obstructing identification, driving on a suspended license, speeding, and multiple traffic violations.

Johnson was taken to Rochelle Community Hospital for evaluation after the arrest and then taken to the Ogle County Jail. She was later released under provisions of the Pretrial Fairness Act, and given a notice to appear at a future court date.
