SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Happy Monday, Utah! It’s going to be a sunny and warm day across the Beehive state. Temperatures will warm to at or below average levels for one more day, but the heat begins to rise with temperatures jumping above average by midweek.

High pressure will dominate through the midweek, allowing for temps to approach the triple-digits by Wednesday. The positioning of the high could pull east and allow for an uptick in monsoon moisture with a potential of a storm or two by late this week, but we will see if we can manage any measurable precipitation by then.

Temperatures may begin to cool slightly back into the mid 90s across northern Utah, and near 100 for SW Utah through the upcoming weekend.

We’ll keep you updated on the latest developments in our 4Warn forecast both on-air and online, we are Good4Utah!
