Cullman County Schools announces largest grant in system’s history

CULLMAN COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – The Cullman County Schools system is receiving an $18 million grant, its largest ever, to fund the construction of a new school.

Superintendent Dr. Shane Barnette and the Cullman County Board of Education held a news conference Tuesday morning at a vacant lot off of U.S. Highway 31 South in Hanceville.

There, they announced that the lot would be home to the future Cullman County STEAM Academy.
