Crothall Healthcare recently filed a WARN notice with Alabama that it would be laying off 52 people, specifically in Montgomery. The company, which bills itself as a health care support service provider, has had contracts with Baptist South in Montgomery, as well as other businesses.
The company has had several layoffs this year alone, the most significant being back in May, when 239 people were let go at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Ohio. According to WARNTracker.com, the company has also had layoffs in California and Florida.
The starting date for the layoffs is set to begin Sept. 30.
