The San Francisco Police Department responded at 10:35 p.m. to the 200 block of Harbor Road on the report of a shooting. Officers who were dispatched to the scene learned that a vehicle involved in the incident was stopped on the 2200 block of Cesar Chavez Street.
Officers found two people inside the vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, SFPD said. Arriving paramedics provided aid as they were rushed to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police announced on Tuesday that one of the victims succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital. Their identity has not yet been released to the public.
The other victim’s current condition is unknown.
No arrests have been made in connection with the double shooting. Anyone with information is asked to contact the San Francisco Police Department at 415-575-4444 or text a tip to TIP44 and begin the message with SFPD.
