Zion Grove man gets prison time for burglary in northern Pa.

NORTH TOWANDA TWP., Bradford County — A local man may spend up to the next decade in a state prison for his role in a burglary and assault near Towanda.

Joseph C. Caporusso, 37, of Zion Grove, was sentenced to 15 months to 10 years in state prison.

He was charged by State Police with aggravated assault, burglary, and simple assault, accused of a break-in and assault in North Towanda Township.

He pleaded guilty in June and was sentenced earlier this month.

Following his prison sentence, he will serve two years of probation.
