The fundraiser, now a staple on the organization’s calendar, kicks off at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, August 8th, with guests treated to dinner at 6:15 p.m., followed by a lively evening of bingo games, raffles, and prizes to benefit families and individuals in need across the region.
Tickets are priced at $75 per person, which includes dinner and two bingo cards for each of the eight rounds of gameplay. Attendees can also boost their chances of winning by purchasing raffle tickets in the Silver $10 and Gold $25 tiers. Winners will be drawn from themed prize boxes, and guests can spread their tickets across multiple boxes for better odds.
While the event promises entertainment, its impact reaches far beyond the bingo table. Proceeds support a range of Catholic Charities programs, including financial literacy classes, immigration legal services, and emergency assistance for North Louisiana residents.
“This is more than just a night out — it’s a chance to change lives,” the organization shared in a recent Facebook post, encouraging community members to come together for a cause that touches thousands annually.
Parking is available at no cost in the four-level garage connected to the convention center. Guests won’t need physical or digital tickets for entry, as organizers will check names at the door for a smoother arrival experience.
Whether you’re a seasoned bingo player or just in it for the dinner and raffle prizes, Bingo on the Bayou offers a festive way to give back.
