Become a volunteer for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Philadelphia

As Philadelphia prepares to host the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the city is looking for volunteers to make it all happen.

Philadelphia Soccer 2026 is looking for “3,000 passionate volunteers across 18 functional areas, including Media Operations, Hospitality, and Guest Operations. Volunteers will provide support at all tournament-related sites such as stadiums, airports, fan zones, and more. To become a volunteer, individuals must complete a rigorous application process that includes a group recruitment event and Volunteer Team Tryouts. If selected, volunteers will receive extensive training and accreditation.”

Here is a look at the volunteer requirements:

• Be 18 or older at the time of application; there is no upper age limit.
• Commit to a minimum of eight shifts during the tournament (June 11 – July 19, 2026); please note that some shifts may take place before the official tournament start date.
• Speak English. Other languages are a plus!
• Agree to and pass a background review.
• Attend in-person Volunteer Team Tryouts and complete training.
• Be eligible to volunteer in the Host Country and meet other eligibility criteria.
