4 Arrested In Clear Horizons Raid As SPD Crack Down On Gun Crimes

SHREVEPORT, LA – In a major crackdown on firearm-related crime, Shreveport Police—led by Chief Wayne Smith—teamed up with the Shreveport City Marshal’s Office to carry out a targeted operation at Clear Horizons Apartments on July 29.

The effort followed a surge in community complaints regarding illegal activity at the complex, located at 4305 Illinois Street. Officers executed arrest warrants at apartments G-65 and F-51, resulting in multiple arrests and the seizure of firearms and narcotics.

Arrested individuals include:

• Patricia Metcalf (01/11/1974) – Charged with possession of Schedule I and II narcotics and illegal carrying of a weapon alongside controlled substances.
• Steven Scott (09/12/1988) – Arrested for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Scott has prior felony convictions for burglary, drug, and firearm-related offenses.
• Angelica Crowson (08/07/1993) – Taken into custody on an active theft warrant and three child desertion cases.
• Russell Buffet (09/13/1997) – Arrested on an outstanding manslaughter warrant from another jurisdiction.

The operation resulted in the confiscation of multiple illegal firearms and drugs.
