(KRON) – A pizzeria created by an acclaimed 13-time world pizza champion is expanding to the South Bay. Slice House by Tony Gemignani is opening a new pizzeria this fall.

“As we continue to expand Slice House’s footprint across the country, it’s especially exciting for me to open doors throughout the Bay Area where I grew up and launched my pizza career – and this is true for Milpitas,” said Gemignani.

Slice House has signature New York, Detroit, Grandma, and Sicilian-style pizzas. The pizza shop also offers health-conscious options and a hand-picked selection of local craft brews and natural wines.

There is not an exact date when the business will open; however, the eatery is slated to commence in October.

According to Slice House, the Milpitas location will host a grand opening featuring an appearance by Gemignani.

The latest Slice House’s address is set at 1286 Great Mall Parkway, near the Great Mall and downtown San Jose.

Per Slice House’s website, Millbrae and Livermore have locations that will be “coming soon.”
