The Bay Area outpost store is “coming soon” to the Stanford Shopping Center, according to the mall’s website.
Two Italian brothers, Edoardo and Luigi Tonolli, traveled across Italy to find all the secrets to make the best traditional gelato, according to Bacio’s website. In 2011, the Tonollis opened Bacio di Latte.
“We freshly make all delicious recipes every day in-store using the best ingredients in the world, including organic milk and organic cream. We also have our freshest fruit sorbet,” per Bacio’s website.
The parlor said its most important ingredient is the milk and organic cream from family farms in Sonoma County.
Per the Bacio’s website, some of the best-selling gelatos are the cioccolato belga (Belgian chocolate), bacio di latte (vanilla), giandujotto (hazelnut and chocolate), vaniglia and rose (vanilla and rose) and more.
The shop also offers vegan options including pistachio, strawberry, raspberry and lemon gelatos.
