34-year-old man shot and killed in Woodlawn early Sunday morning, Chicago police say
CHICAGO — A 34-year-old man was shot and killed near an alley early Sunday morning in Woodlawn on the city’s South Side, according to Chicago police.

Police say the man was standing near an alley just before 5:30 a.m. in the 6600 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue when he was approached by an unknown offender, who took out a gun and fired shots at the victim.
The man was shot multiple times in the body and pronounced dead at the scene.
